Have you been diagnosed with Autism (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)? Maybe you're undiagnosed, but have suspicions that you might qualify for a diagnosis. Maybe you've attempted therapy before, but it didn't work because your therapist wasn't knowledgable on how to work with people with your diagnosis. Perhaps you were diagnosed so long ago that you were given a diagnosis of ADD and are now curious about getting the most up-to date information on your diagnosis. Regardless, I am here to help.
Now let's be clear, there is no "cure" for these diagnoses, nor should there be. I take a Neurodiverse Affirmative approach with my clients. This means that I believe Neurodiversity is something to work with, not against, in your search for mental wellness.
We will work with you on finding ways to help manage tasks, chores, and deadlines. We will find ways for you to build better relationships. Together we will explore what is unique about you and your way of learning so that therapy can "stick" better.
If you're at all curious on what we can do together to make your life work more in harmony with your diagnosis feel free to reach out. I'd love to hear from you!
